- Begin preparing your slushy at least one hour before serving.
- Follow the recipe carefully and do not exceed the machineās maximum fill line.
- Use the coldest recommended setting for higher-alcohol cocktail recipes.
- Keep the machine indoors or undercover in temperatures below 35Ā°C.

For higher-ABV cocktail kits, set the Frozen Cocktail temperature to approximately -8Ā°C or -9Ā°C. Refer to the user manual for instructions on saving this as the default setting.

š· Alcohol Guidelines:
- Your finished recipe should contain between 2.8% and 16% ABV.
- When using spirits of approximately 35% ABV or higher, use around 120ml per 710ml of total recipe volume.
- Too much alcohol may prevent the mixture from freezing correctly.
- If the mixture is not freezing, add approximately 60ml of water, allow another 30 minutes, and repeat if necessary.

Non-alcoholic recipes require enough sugar to freeze correctly. A Brix level of approximatelyĀ 13ā17 is generally recommended for the best slushy consistency.
Low- or no-sugar mixers should only be used when the recipe contains sufficient alcohol or a suitable VINKA Slushy Booster.
