Never ones to die wondering, our resident mixologists wondered what would happen if they distilled wine like vodka. It created an exceptional neutral base that can be dialled up or down and mixed with classic flavours to create your favourite cocktails and mixed drinks.

Cute concept. Why do I need two sachets to make one drink?
Come on, who doesn’t love the chance to get all mixologist and show some flair with the cocktail shaker or stir a drink with a flourish? We want to make sure you get that joy while being guaranteed an exceptional cocktail (or mixed drink) experience every time, without the need for lots of bottles and pricey ingredients.
The VINKA base sachet comes in three levels of sweetness, and the mixer sachet has all the flavours, foaming agents (instead of egg egg whites), fruit and plant extracts and natural colours. You can’t have one without the other, and it couldn’t be easier.
Medium, Dry and Extra Dry. What’s with the three different bases?
Different cocktails need different amounts of sugar, so we offer three different sweetness levels to make sure your cocktails are spot on, every time. So a VINKA VINKA Amaretto Sour is best with a Medium base, but a VINKA Old Fashioned gets its zip from the Dry base. Of course, you can switch bases to suit your taste, or stick with the tried and true.
How much will each sachet make?
When you combine your VINKA 250ml base and 50ml mixer sachets, you’ll have 300ml, but some of our drinks stretch a bit further – to two or three drinks – with the addition of some soda water. Combine a few sachets into a pitcher and you’ve got a batch for the whole crew, in no time.
I read the fine print and it’s wine, not vodka. Is this really going to make a proper cocktail?
There’s no shortage of wine in Australia, and there’s no denying how good it is. And while we love supporting the wine industry, we don’t always want to drink it. So we’ve come up with a filtration process that effectively turns wine into vodka (VINKA, get it?) – and the perfect base for your favourite drinks.
What about the hangover?
If you hear wine and think of terrible sulphur hangovers, think again. That filtration system also ensures our bases have almost zero sulphur, so VINKA drinks don’t taste like wine – and definitely don’t feel like wine the day after.
You say sustainable, is this legit?
Most glass in Australia is not recycled. To reduce this landfill burden all VINKA drinks are packed in more efficient sachet format that reduces packaging. Tastes good, is good! VINKA 50ml Mixers Sachets use a measly 2.8grams of film and VINKA 250ml Bases use in incredibly low 7.9grams of film.
